Ready-To-Use Presentations
This area is intended to provide counselors and mentors with a variety of ready-to-use presentations and talking points that are available to view online or to download. Many of the PowerPoint® presentations are available in both English and Spanish.
Talking Points -- this option provides you with an html document that contains the talking points for each slide. This file can be viewed, printed or downloaded (saved) to your computer. Hint: print the talking points and review them as you progress through the View Slides slideshow online.
Downloadable -- this option provides you with access to the actual PowerPoint® (PPT) file which can be viewed, printed or downloaded. If you launch the PPT from the pop-screen that appears, the file will launch in PowerPoint Viewer. If you right click on the link in the pop-up box, you'll have the ability to open the file or save it to your computer. Depending upon the size of the presentations, launching or downloading through this option can take a few minutes. The benefit to this option is that you can view the presentation offline using the PowerPoint software, which also allows you to view the slides and the talking points at the same time (using the View pull-down menu).
