FAFSA Simplification: What We Know
The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid® (FAFSA) will experience significant changes this year, which will impact students and families across the state of Illinois. Join us on Tuesday, June 6, from 10-11 a.m. (CT) to learn about the upcoming changes on:
- reporting tax information for students and parents,
- reporting parental information,
- how to complete the application, and more!
The Student Aid Index (SAI)
Join us on Tuesday, June 20, from 10-10:30 a.m. (CT) for our session on the Student Aid Index (SAI) from the FAFSA. During this session we will discuss what we know so far regarding the switch from the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) to the SAI, the main components of the new calculation, as well as changes to the Federal Methodology of the FAFSA.
