Moving Forward Together

If you haven't already registered for the conference, register today. If you have registered, thank you, and we ask you to invite a colleague. The success of our Illinois students requires partners across all sectors and stakeholders throughout the state coming together and examining how we can work together better in helping students achieve success and our state reach its Goal 2025. The 2022 College Changes Everything® (CCE) Conference provides the occasion for you to hear from colleagues as they share their latest experiences, knowledge, and lessons learned to inform your own planning and efforts. The conference also gives you the opportunity to step back from your daily routine and engage with a diverse group of like-minded peers and provides you opportunities for professional and personal development.

Whova Network Tables – Meet Your Conference Colleagues

The conference is being hosted on the Whova event platform, and we'll be using Webex to deliver the live stream sessions. While nothing can replace meeting in-person, Whova provides several ways for conference participants to interact and engage with other attendees via community board topics and other interactive features, such as the Speed Networking Table sessions. Every day, Monday through Thursday of the conference, attendees can join a Speed Networking Table with a small group (up to 3) of other attendees on video chat within Whova, helping make connections that carry on during and after the conference. After 5 minutes at one table, participants are "shuffled" to join another table to meet different attendees. Be sure to add Speed Networking Table sessions to your personal conference agenda. You can learn more about how to get the most out of Whova by downloading the Whova App and reviewing the Whova Attendee User Guide. Register now and build your own custom agenda of sessions. We look forward to your participation in the conference.

Please share this e-Message with your colleagues so they can register, too. There is no registration fee. More information about the conference is available on the conference website.

Wondering About Switching from Paper to Electronic Transcripts?
Sent to Principals/Superintendents/Administrators and High School Counselors/Teachers on June 16, 2022.

Have you wondered if you should make the switch from paper to electronic transcripts?

To help school administrators learn more about the "free of charge" ISAC Transcript Exchange available to all public and private high schools in Illinois, we have been hosting 45-minute webinars throughout the 2021-22 school year. We have recorded these webinars, and they are available for viewing on our website via the following link: www.isac.org/transcript-exchange#pdw.

Each webinar includes a special guest who shares their thoughts on adopting the ISAC Transcript Exchange and how it has made a difference at their schools. Guests include counselors from both very small and larger school settings, a Director of Academic Services, and – in our final webinar from May 11th – a high school principal. You'll learn why the schools are taking advantage of this service to give their students the opportunity to have transcripts sent electronically and to save their institutions expenses in staff time and other resources. All guest speakers, as well as staff from other participating schools, are available to speak with you individually and answer any questions you have after watching the recording.

During the webinar, you will learn about the ISAC Transcript Exchange through Parchment, including how to navigate the student and administrator dashboards and gain efficiencies by switching from paper to electronic transcripts. Current students can request transcripts to be sent electronically to the college(s) of their choice, the Common App, and other organizations requesting transcripts (e.g., scholarship providers and third-party verifications), free of charge. Your school alumni are also able to use Parchment for transcript requests with a nominal transcript fee. To protect the privacy and confidentiality of transcript data, documents are sent through a secure transcript service in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

To learn more about the ISAC Transcript Exchange, visit our website at www.isac.org/transcript-exchange. For questions or to schedule a meeting, contact Lenore Smith at Lenore.Smith@illinois.gov.

Note: ISAC will not be offering Continuing Education (CE) credits or Professional Development hours (PD) for viewing this webinar.
