Event Information
Under Public Act 102-0917, by July 1st, 2025, ALL public high schools serving grades 6th -8th and 9th -12th will be required to adopt and implement a PaCE Framework. To learn more, visit ISAC’s Illinois PaCE page.
To support schools and districts, we are providing a full-day training that will discuss how to get started, best practices for implementation, and your next steps to successfully adopt and implement a PaCE Framework! Below is the description of each session we will be discussing and what attendees will learn about throughout each module.
PaCE Full Day Training Module Descriptions:
PaCE Module 1: Starting with a Good Plan
In this module, we go over the necessary planning steps that are included in the process of adopting and implementing a PaCE Framework. We will discuss defining roles, setting goals, and finding your “why”
PaCE Module 2: It Takes a Community
In this module, we discuss the importance of school district collaboration, building a PaCE learning community, and leveraging community resources
PaCE Module 3: Centering Your Students
In this module, we discuss creating PaCE culture within the school building, how to implement PaCE programming within the school day, and making the connection to students' futures
PaCE Module 4: Tracking Your Progress
In this module, we discuss why tracking your progress of implementing a PaCE Framework is so important. We help you identify tools to gather data, so you know how to move forward with what was learned from the data to increase equity, inclusion, access, and opportunity for students
