PaCE Implementation Leader Training

In 2016, the Illinois Postsecondary and Career Expectations (PaCE) Framework was adopted by the four educational agencies in Illinois: Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), Illinois Community College Board (ICCB), Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE), and Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). Part of ISAC's role is to support schools in understanding and implementing the IL PaCE Framework or developing a customized framework to fit their needs. With either of these options, it is essential that schools designate a PaCE Implementation Leader that will support the implementation process at their school.

The PaCE Implementation Leader Training was developed to provide an in-depth perspective on the Illinois PaCE Framework and the implementation process for those who wish to serve as implementation leaders in their schools. Attendees of this training will be equipped to serve as PaCE Implementation Leaders in their schools or organizations. Upon completion of this two hour virtual training, implementation leaders will have a better understanding on how to assist their schools in implementing the IL PaCE Framework, or can serve as a liaison between their school and ISAC, if the school wishes to create their own customized framework.

We will continue to offer virtual presentations as an option, but we are happy to announce our return to in-person presentations. We will do our best to accommodate requests for in-person presentations based on location and availability of staff. If you have any questions, please contact us at isac.outreachtraining@illinois.gov or isac.pace@illinois.gov.

If you've not already done so, be sure to subscribe to ISAC's e-Messaging service, to stay informed with future training offerings.
