Data Book
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) Data Book is completed annually by the Research, Planning, and Policy Analysis Division. It is a collection of tables containing information regarding student financial aid programs administered by ISAC and is divided into seven sections.
The Data Book provides the appropriation history for the agency and summary data for ISAC-administered programs for the previous fiscal year. The programs for which data is available include the Monetary Award Program (MAP) and all other gift assistance programs. The Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) data is provided through 2010. Due to the enactment of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, ISAC no longer originates or services FFELP loans. Colleges now process new loans through the U.S. Department of Education’s William D. Ford Direct Loan Program. Also provided is summary information for the College Illinois! prepaid tuition program and an overview of ISAC’s statewide outreach activities.
