MAP Advising Support Programs Search Tool

Annually, ISAC collects information from institutions on their student advising efforts, including efforts targeted to MAP recipients and freshman students. Detailed information such as contact methods utilized, how the program information is delivered, the average hours of student participation, and the frequency of contact with participating students is collected for general advising, freshman advising, and student support programs.

Comparing the reported information is intended to help colleges see how their advising offerings compare to programs at other colleges and to inspire innovation and provide insight regarding student advising. Continued comparisons across institutions will help build the development of “best practices” in advising, benefitting both colleges and students. The MAP Advising Support Programs Search Tool allows users to review program narratives and descriptive program results for advising support programs reported by schools each year. The tool allows searches for programs of different types and at specific institutions, and displays the narratives and information supplied directly by the institution.

Select a college or select a program type and college type to see support program descriptions and narrative outcomes.
