MAP Estimator Available at ISAC's Website

02/09/2024

Student who are planning to attend an Illinois college in the 2024-25 academic year can access the MAP Estimator to get an idea of your eligibility for the Monetary Award Program (MAP). MAP grants help pay tuition and fee expenses for students who meet the program's eligibility requirements.

To use the MAP Estimator, you will need your Student Aid Index or SAI (formerly the expected family contribution or EFC) from your FAFSA Submission Summary. The SAI is an eligibility index number used to determine your eligibility for federal student aid and is also used to calculate your MAP eligibility. If you haven't received your SAI from submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) yet, you can get an estimated SAI by using the Federal Student Aid Estimator.

Both the MAP Estimator and the Federal Student Aid Estimator are accessible through the Toolbox area of the ISAC Student Portal.
