Land of Learning: Freedom to Learn, Opportunity to Grow

As part of the launch of Education Matters Illinois, we have also begun an ongoing art and awareness campaign highlighting landmarks, icons, and sources of community pride from across the state. We asked students, parents, and practitioners to tell us about local images that represent their hometown.

Our team photographed and illustrated ten of the entries we received and matched them with the education and careers behind each image to create the Land of Learning. Below you can see the first release of art posters.
