Student Award Announcements
Award Amount

Up to 250 School Social Work Scholarships may be awarded each year, contingent upon the funds appropriated by the Illinois General Assembly.

Each academic year, timely applicants whose college or university has certified their eligibility by the requested ISAC receipt date are included in the initial awarding process.

The following information describes the awarding process for the 2025-26 academic year. This page will be updated when 2026-27 awarding begins.

Student Award Announcements

Based on the certification data submitted by the college or university, ISAC proceeds with the awarding process and sends the appropriate notification (Notice of Eligibility or Notice of Ineligibility) to each applicant.

Award information is available on the Post-Master of Social Work School Social Work Professional Educator License Scholarship Program system after each round of awarding, allowing the school to identify which students have been awarded.

Award Amount

Post-Master of Social Work School Social Work Professional Educator License Scholarship Program funds are applicable only toward tuition and mandatory fees. The total amount of scholarship assistance awarded to a qualified applicant in an academic year, when added to other available financial aid, cannot exceed the recipient's cost of attendance.
