Tracking for 2022-23 financial aid application completion will cover a period from October 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022. Completion rates as of end of day July 31, 2022 will be used to determine recognition level for qualifying schools.

Public Schools:

  • ISAC will use an ISBE-provided data set to prepopulate rosters for the for the entire class of 2022 in the ISAC Gift Assistance Programs (GAP) Access portal in December, 2021.
  • Schools should monitor their school rosters and make any updates as necessary to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date enrollment information.
    • Please refer to the FAFSA Completion Initiative User Guide, which is accessed via the GAP Access User Guides area for additional information on how to upload, access, and/or update your school’s roster.
    • CPS schools: if your data needs corrections, please work with your central office. Please note that the Chicago Public Schools District Office will be updating the completion rate data for each individual Chicago Public School prior to July 31, 2022. Questions regarding CPS completion data should be addressed to LearnPlanSucceed@cps.edu.
  • To be eligible for a Recognition of Excellence Award, school must meet one of the 4 qualifying thresholds of completion, below:
    • Platinum ≥ 95%
    • Gold ≥ 85%
    • Silver ≥ 75%
    • Bronze ≥ 65%

Private Schools:

  • Must complete a student record upload for the entire class of 2022 into the ISAC Gift Assistance Programs (GAP) Access portal at least once between October 1, 2021 and July 31, 2022.
  • Schools should monitor their school rosters and make any updates as necessary to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date enrollment.
  • Meet one of the 4 qualifying thresholds below:
    • Platinum ≥ 95%
    • Gold ≥ 85%
    • Silver ≥ 75%
    • Bronze ≥ 65%
