Program Funding

The 2020 fiscal year (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020) appropriation for the Grant Programs of Police/Fire/Correctional Officers is $1,237,300.

Application

The 2019-20 Grant Program for Dependents of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers Application is available to print. In order to receive full-year consideration an application must be received on or before October 1 of the academic year for which grant assistance is requested. For spring-term and summer-term consideration, the deadline date is March 1. For summer-term consideration only, applications must be received on or before June 15. Applications received by ISAC after these deadline dates will be processed only for subsequent terms, with June 15 as the final date of acceptance for the summer term.

Program Funding

The 2019 fiscal year (July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019) appropriation for the Grant Programs of Police/Fire/Correctional Officers is $1,237,400.

Payment

The summer term Certification of Enrollment for Payment rosters for the 2018-19 Grant Programs for Dependents of Police, Fire or Correctional Officers (PFC) were emailed to financial aid directors on June 13, 2019. Rosters should be returned as soon as possible, but no later than July 1, 2019. Refer to the PFC Payment Procedures page for additional payment information.

The 2018-19 payment claims for all terms will be paid at 100%. ISAC will not send notices to students. Vouchers are emailed to financial aid directors.

Application

The 2018-19 Grant Program for Dependents of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers application is no longer being accepted.

Notices of Eligibility to qualified applicants will be sent by the end of June. Individuals whose applications were received by the June 15 summer term deadline, but do not meet the criteria to be a qualified applicant, will receive a Notice of Ineligibility.
