Program Funding

The 2027 fiscal year (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) appropriation for the Grant Programs for Dependents of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers is $1,100,000.

Application

The 2026-27 Grant Programs for Dependents of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers application is available to complete and submit online.

To receive full-year consideration, an application must be submitted on or before October 1, 2026. For spring-term and summer-term consideration, the deadline date is March 1, 2027. For summer-term consideration only, applications must be received on or before June 15, 2027. Applications received by ISAC after these deadline dates will be processed only for subsequent terms, with June 15, 2027 as the final date of acceptance for the summer term.

2025-26

Reconciliation – Due to ISAC Notifications

Notifications detailing the outstanding amount that must be refunded to ISAC for the 2025-26 Grant Programs for Dependents of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers were emailed to financial aid directors in early August. Review the information in the notification and return the appropriate amount – along with a completed Gift Assistance Programs Refund Check Form – no later than August 19, 2026.

If additional information needs to be provided to ISAC by the college, a Gift Assistance Programs Refund Check Explanation Form (Excel spreadsheet) may be completed and included with the Refund Check Form.
