Important Dates

The priority application consideration date for the online 2024-25 Illinois Special Education Teacher Tuition Waiver (SETTW) Program application was March 1, 2024. Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2024-25 academic year.

Complete applications submitted (i.e., electronically signed or postmarked) after the March 1 deadline are considered for an SETTW award only if waivers remain after all timely complete applicants have been awarded.

The 2025-26 Illinois SETTW Program application is anticipated to be available in December of 2024.

Additional awarding criteria can be found at the SETTW Program page, located under "Scholarships" in the Types of Financial Aid section. Those applicants who are awarded receive written notification from ISAC.
