Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Application

Welcome to the online application process for the Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Program.

Important information regarding this program may be accessed by selecting from among the options that appear in the menu at the right margin of this page. Be sure you read and understand this information prior to submitting an application.

Your complete MTI application and the corresponding Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) or Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid (Alternative Application) must be submitted on or before March 31 preceding the academic year for which you are applying in order to receive priority consideration.

In order to complete the MTI online application, you must log in to the ISAC Student Portal (if you have not already done so, you may create a profile here). After entering and submitting your data via the online application, follow the on-screen instructions to sign and submit the application to ISAC. You will have the option of electronically signing and submitting your application (preferred method), or you may print and sign your application by hand and then mail it to ISAC. For priority consideration, your complete, signed application must be submitted (i.e., electronically signed or postmarked) on or before March 31 preceding the academic year for which you are applying.

Because the application contains personally identifiable information, caution should be used if submitting the completed application in an unsecured setting (for example, a public computer at a library).

If you have any questions regarding this program or the application process, contact a representative from the ISAC Call Center.
